Back in 2001 I was made redundant from my old job as IT onsultant and was left wondering what the future held. My father is a keen gardeners and so I have always had an interest in all things botanical. It was only a matter of time before I followed in his footsteps." Having moved around Europe for the last 15 years I have experienced the alienation of being a foreigner in a new country with new culture and language. The idea with the Gardening Services was born when I myself tried to get a few trees cut whilst living in France, which resulted in bad work, overpriced and left me with all the rubble to take to the dump. So I offer a service that appeals to most expats living in Belgium for a short or long term stay, communicating in their preferred language.

"It all started from very humble beginnings - a few lawn cutting jobs here and few planting jobs there, but as word spread it wasn't just the plants that began to grow! Slowly over the years I got more and more work all around Waterloo and the surrounding villages and in Brussels. "Now I have over 16 gardening contracts ranging from lawn mowing to weekly full garden maintenance. I also employ a number of workers to help during the busy Summer months.
